Our Team

Terrones Driving Academy LLC :

We are a family run and locally owned business. Our goal is to help young driver's be confident, comfortable, and ready to be independent on the road. We have a combined 37 years of experience behind the wheel and in the classroom.

Robert "Bob" Terrones:

Bob has 20+ years of experience teaching drivers education in the classroom and behind the wheel at Gilbert, Ames, Roland-Story, Boone, South Hamilton, Nevada and Humboldt.

Karl Terrones:

Karl has 10 years of experience teaching drivers education behind the wheel. His experience ranges from Gilbert, Ames, Roland-Story, Boone, South Hamilton, and Nevada.

Trent Becker:

Trent has 7 years of experience teaching drivers education behind the wheel with experience at Gilbert, Ames, Roland-Story, Ankeny, Eagle Grove, and Nevada.

Brian Tickle:

Brian retired from the Story County Sheriff's office in 2022 after working for 24.5 years in law enforcement.  He lives in Gilbert with his wife Joni and their kids.  His knowledge for the "Rules and Laws of the Road" will be a great addition for our team and communities.

 Colbi Terrones: 

Colbi is our administrative assistant. Most people would know her as "Mrs. T" as a preschool teacher at Gilbert Elementary.
